Opened the can and immediate hit of turpentine! The bud is moist and spongy- slightly sticky and packed tight. Not as gold as the photo shown, but def. o the lighter green/ gold bud, with orange-red patches.
I let a tight bud dry out slightly on a tray and broke into it- Still the heavy turpentine but also fresh turned earth notes. Very powerful bouquet!
When it was ground up and sieved it took on a darker green hue, but still with gold in it. I burned this wed in a well cured wood bowl pipe with a 12″ stem and it has a wicked cough factor… the earthy flavors, the turpentine is up front but the exhale is distinctly MANGO. (I always think mangoes have a bit of turpentine flavor anyways.)
The aftertaste is skunky AF! Very skunk, sitting right on top of my tongue. Excellent!
This weed is a potent head buzz. It has some numbing effect on my face and lips. Another factor that figures into this is that it makes my nose run, because I have a sensitivity to weed, and the more potent it is, the more my nose goes off.
